The man without the
enemies
A harmless person, who runs in a public place for a foreign with a
club attacked became, and hard blow. If the foreign with a club was
brought for procedure, the complainant says judges it:
"I knows not why, that I attacked became; I have no enemy in the
world."
"That," the accused that said it "why I made becomes, would
strike it."
"It permitted that the prisoner unloads," says the judge; "a man
that no no the enemy has not, has no the friends. The courts are not

The Man with No Enemies
AN Inoffensive Person walking in a public place was assaulted by a
Stranger with a Club, and severely beaten. When the Stranger with a
Club was brought to trial, the complainant said to the Judge: "I
do not know why I was assaulted; I have not an enemy in the world."
"That," said the defendant, "is why I struck him."
"Let the prisoner be discharged," said the Judge; "a man
who has no enemies has no friends. The courts are not for such."
